•What is Staging For Sale?
The staging for sale process involves decluttering, cleaning, repairing, depersonalizing, and enhancement. Decluttering – removing excess furniture, accessories, old plants, collections, etc. Cleaning – Spring cleaning all the rooms till they look and smell as fresh as new. Repairing – Fixing cracks, leaks, stains, smells, missing or very old handles on doors and cabinets. Depersonalizing – Putting the house “Back to Basics”, giving the house a general décor, not a specific décor. Making the rooms appeal to many people, not a small group of people, thus enlarging your target audience. Enhancement – Small touches that add a bit of sizzle, new towels, new plants, fresh flowers, updated colors and accessories, in small doses. |
